The Media Innovation Lab at IDC Herzliya (miLAB) is a research and prototyping lab that explores the future of media and technology; Through a collaborative creative process new concepts for media experiences are transformed into working prototypes. Problems and solutions revolving this work are investigated through dedicated coursework, academic research and the publications of evaluation reports.
The lab is a collaboration between the Sammy Ofer School of Communications and the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science. It works closely with strategic industry sponsors and international research centers in the Human Centered Computing and Media Technologies domains.
The lab carries out several joint projects with leading research laboratories in the world, among them the Media Lab at the Massachusetts institute of Technology (MIT).
